John Zuromski is a veteran wine steward, and has worked in many fine dining establishments. John Zuromski is currently a certified sommelier at the exquisite Victoria and Albert’s restaurant, considered the crown jewel of the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida.

John Zuromski is a certified sommelier who has worked at Walt Disney World since 1991. As a sommelier, he is trained and certified in all aspects of wine service, as well as in pairing wine with food. It is a demanding and highly specialized skill, and John Zuromski is proud of his hard-earned expertise.
A sommelier is a hard-won credential; it demonstrates a minimum standard of the knowledge and service of wine for professionals in the Hospitality Industry. To become a Certified Sommelier, John Zuromski had to pass a day-long exam. The exam is given in three segments: a blind tasting of two wines, a written theory examination, and a practical service examination. There are no lectures or tastings offered for instruction; those who take the test, like John Zuromski, must bring their skills with them.

John Zuromski has the distinction of being the lead server whose flawless service was recognized with a Five Diamond rating by AAA, during its annual inspection and rating of the restaurant. Victoria and Albert’s has been a Five Diamond restaurant for fifteen years. Out of an annual review of more than 29,000 establishments, less than one percent make the AAA Five Diamond list.

John Zuromski earned his rating through dint of hard work. He takes great pride in what he does. John Zuromski has a reputation as hard-working and honest, but his colleagues know he has a lighter fun side as well.

John Zuromski has twenty-three years of continuous perfect service to the Walt Disney World Company. He has also worked for the Hyatt Corporation from 1983 to 1986 as a dining room manager, and was a wine steward at Limey Jim’s fine dining restaurant at the Hyatt Orlando in Kissimmee, Florida, and a server at the Marriott Orlando World Center, Regent Court Restaurant from 1986 to 1991. John Zuromski has also worked for Premieretrade, a trading software company based in Altamonte Spring, Florida.

John Zuromski and his wife Jackie have been married for twenty-seven years. The couple live in Florida.
