John McCullough of Oakville has been working in the field of electric distribution for 34 years. When he graduated from the University of Toronto in 1981, he immediately entered the field and has grown to extraordinary heights in his professional life. This year, John McCullough of Oakville celebrates 18 years at the General Manager of SESCO, acquired in 2011 as a subsidiary of Sonepar. Over the course of those 18 years, John McCullough of Oakville has acquired a reputation for honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

As General Manager of SESCO, John McCullough of Oakville has accomplished many things. One of his proudest achievements is winning a major lighting project to be placed in downtown Toronto. This lighting project will bring significant attention to his work. Says John McCullough of Oakville, “I am extremely proud to have been awarded this lighting project. We hope that individuals will see this project and be impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of our work at SESCO.” John McCullough of Oakville’s other major accomplishment as General Manager of SESCO is that he holds the record for largest growth by an independent distributor in Ontario. “I like to think that it is my skill at networking and my salesmanship that allowed me to win that one,” notes John McCullough of Oakville.

In fact, John McCullough of Oakville has placed a special emphasis on networking during his 18 year tenure as SESCO General Manager. He is an associate member of both the Ontario Electric League and of Electro-fed Canada. John McCullough of Oakville enjoys talking with other electric distribution professionals at these meetings, where colleagues often work together to build leadership skills. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of colleagues in these organizations,” says John McCullough of Oakville. “We really work together to help grow our businesses side by side.”

John McCullough of Oakville plans to continue on as the leader of SESCO for the foreseeable future and hopes to lead the company ever higher. “I keep working on my management and leadership skills and I hope those will help me to further our success at SESCO,” says John McCullough of Oakville.
