Jim Huneke Celebrates 8 Years With the USPTA

Jim Huneke is celebrating the 8 year anniversary of his becoming a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional.

 
This year marks the 8 year anniversary of JIm Huneke’s certification with the United States Professional Tennis Association. Jim Huneke is also celebrating his 2nd year anniversary as a United States Professional Tennis Association ‘Elite Professional’, which is the association’s highest level of certification for tennis professionals.

Jim Huneke has led a highly successful career as a tennis professional. Additionally, Jim Huneke has excelled in his educational career, having earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Quincy University in Quincy Illinois, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from St. Cloud State University, in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

The United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), which is the world’s largest association of tennis professionals, granted Jim Huneke certification as an ‘Elite Professional’ in 2012.

Jim Huneke is proud to commemorate the 8 year anniversary of his becoming certified with the USPTA.

Jim Huneke says that he is also proud to commemorate his 2 years as a USPTA Elite Professional certified tennis professional. “The Elite Professional level certification has been very beneficial for my career.” says Jim Huneke

Prior to joining the USPTA in 2007, Jim Huneke had already established a track-record of numerous achievements in the world of tennis. From 1996 to 1999, Jim Huneke was a member of an NCAA Division 2 college tennis team. In 1997, Jim Huneke served as the Head Boys’ and Girls’ Tennis Coach for South Junior High in St. Cloud, MN. Since then, Jim Huneke has worked as a tennis professional, tennis instructor, and tennis coach at a wide-range of centers, clubs, elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, colleges, and universities.

Jim Huneke worked as a Mentor Physical Education Teacher for Quincy Public Schools from 2006 to 2011, and as the PBIS Coordinator for Madison Elementary School from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to his certification with the USPTA, Jim Huneke holds numerous other credentials. Jim Huneke has been a member of the United States Tennis Association for 25 years, the USA Hockey Association for 30 years, and the Illinois Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance for 10 years.

Jim Huneke has been recognized as a leading educator, and, in 2007, received the Young Professional Of The Year award from the Illinois Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

Jim Huneke says that he looks forward to the future as a USPTA Elite Professional Certified Tennis Professional. “I am eager to continue my work as a member of the USPTA.” says Jim Huneke.
