Jason Barker of New York first ventured into the world of professional finance during his student tenure at the University of Washington. As a student, Jason Barker quickly developed an interest in and a passion for professional accounting and finance, which laid the foundation for what, has become a notable and highly-successful career.

Jason Barker of New York began his career shortly after the successful pursuit of his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Accounting. Less than just two short years out of college, Jason entered the professional accounting field, becoming a General Ledger Analyst for the DaVita Corporation. After three successful years with DaVita, Jason Barker of New York decided it was time to broaden his horizons, and became a Corporate Accountant with Emeritus Assisted Living in December of 2003. Jason served a short but successful stint at Emeritus before joining the PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP company in 2004. He quickly rose through the company ranks, earning the opportunity to manage an audit of a high-profile manufacturing client. It was also during this time that Jason Barker of New York earned his CPA, becoming certified as a professional accountant in the State of New York.

Jason Barker of New York served Price Waterhouse for two years as a company Associate before accepting a position with Providence Health and Services in 2006. It was here that he really had the opportunity to demonstrate his skill and talent for data analysis and project management. During his tenure at Providence, Jason Barker of New York managed the preparation of the company’s regional office budget, which totaled over $110 million. He was also responsible for the creation of the company’s 10 year long range financial plan, which covered eight separate departments within the regional office. 

Jason Barker of New York then enrolled in the acclaimed Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business, and successfully graduated with an MBA in 2010. The challenging yet rewarding Carnegie Mellon business curriculum allowed Jason Barker of New York to transition easily into a Bank Examiner position with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a position he holds to this day.
