Every person with a dream would love to achieve it. To achieve your life goals, a strong foundation of hard work is necessary from an early age. For Jane Turbes to become the accomplished financial genius she is today, she had to put in the effort. Her current work as an underwriter is the next chapter of her life, which banks on the success achieved in her previous career years.


Growing up, Jane Turbes was exposed to hard work from an early age. She grew up on a farm in Minnesota, and she was expected to contribute. She pulled her weight, and with seven older siblings to look up to; she aspired to make her mark in the world. She would get the opportunity to do this, having graduated from college with a BS degree in Finance.


Her first work experience would come as a loans officer. In a field that many associate with the notion that men fare much better, Jane would have to work twice as hard to show that she belonged, but also could be considered a professional in the field. This early success fueled her to take on more challenging roles in the next decade while working as a senior credit analyst.


For Jane, achieving professional success – despite an upbringing that included being diagnosed with diabetes at the age of ten and losing both her parents – is not complete without a personal life and family by your side. She had to look up to her siblings while growing up, and while not ideal, she respects the role they had to play in her success.

"I believe very much in family and taking care of family members," she says and adores the two Chihuahua puppies that make her laugh.


Over the years, she has learned to lean on travel, cooking and love of professional football as avenues to blow off steam. In order to stay focused and energized, she has incorporated routine exercise and biking into her lifestyle. Volunteer work at the local Animal Humane Society and Dumb Friends League allow her to help those in needs.
