It is for that reason that many are starting to look back to older farming methods of the past, where none of these problems existed.

Part of the reason that industrial farming has gotten so out of hand, though science and empirical evidence has made it obvious that it is harmful, is simply a lack of awareness. Many people do not stop to question where their food comes from, how it was made, or what it contains. That kind of blind consumption has caused many to turn a blind eye to these problems.
