The work Heather McPherson is most well known for are the books that make up the Dr. Bob book series, which is an adventure collection for younger children. The two most popular books in the series are Dr. Bob Can’t Find the Door, and Dr. Bob and the Adventures of the Alley Rat Gang. Both books became best sellers amongst other popular works across Canada and Europe. Although there are four books total in the collection of adventures, Dr. Bob Can’t Find the Door, and Dr. Bob and the Adventures of the Alley Rat Gang are the most well known. She is currently working on the fifth book of the series.

Their most favorite activities include going to the mini-golf course and spending time at the nearby water park.

Heather McPherson has worked for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the American Humane Society.
