Greg Austin of Chattanooga is proud to announce that he has accumulated over 200 certificates in the telecommunications field. Throughout his career, he has made it a priority to stay up to date and well trained.

The telecommunications field is a constantly changing field. The technologies involved are constantly being improved. The best professionals in the field have to be aware of all of the changes. Any new technology or ways of interfacing with telecom software requires training.

Greg Austin of Chattanooga learned a great deal about the rapid changes during his time in the United States Air Force. Greg served in the Air Force from 1984 until 1991. During that time he received a great deal of training in the most modern telecom technology. By the time he finished his service, the technology in the field had completely changed. The speed at which this occurs in the telecom field has only increased.

Greg Austin of Chattanooga knew early on in his career that undergoing training and earning the most recent certifications would be vital to his success. Asked about how he managed to accumulate over 200 certificates, Greg stated, "There is almost always a great training linked to the certificates I have. I'm very passionate about the telecom field and earning these certificates kept me in the know about everything going on. After a few years in the field it was hard for me to believe I had accumulated so many. It definitely keeps me on my toes."

In the past, Greg Austin of Chattanooga has earned a variety of awards in addition to his certificates. He was given a Certificate of Achievement for superior sales from Mitel (a large telecom company servicing businesses) in 2007 and 2008.

Currently, Greg Austin of Chattanooga runs his own telecom business called Ameritel Communications. He started the company in 1988 and has been growing it steadily since then. He is happy to have been successful in a field he loves and he makes sure to give back. Ameritel has recently donated a high tech kiosk to the Memorial Veteran's Auditorium, among many other charity actions.
