It takes a certain kind of temperament to work in a customer service role, which is something that Gregory Gottfried understands all too well. He has worked in various roles that required him to interact directly with the public, determining what they needed and providing it to them to the best of his abilities, which is why he is so suited to his work as a Front Desk Agent at the Sheraton Hotel.
Gregory Gottfried journey into the world of customer service began when he moved to New York to complete his studies. While working hard to gain the qualifications that he needed, Gottfried worked as a Host at some of the largest restaurant chains in the United States, including Olive Garden and Applebee’s. This gave him his first experiences interacting with the public and helped him to develop a keen understanding of how to approach people who are expecting a certain level of service, in addition to helping him to develop the patience that is often required in a customer service role.
Upon completing his studies, he moved on to a number of roles as a Sales Associate, working for well-known companies like Calvin Klein, The Gap and Aeropostale. This required him to use the skills that he had developed during his time as a Host, in addition to gaining an entirely new set of skills and expertise to ensure that he could provide the best possible service to each of the customers he encountered. During this period, he developed the ability to adapt to any situation, which was vital considering the fact that he worked in multiple roles over a fairly short period of time, which required him to learn the ropes of each new company quickly.
Gregory Gottfried has now taken all of the experience that he earned during this period and applies it to his work as a Front Desk Agent at the Sheraton Hotel. His aim is always to make visiting the hotel a positive experience for anybody who walks through the front door and he dedicates himself to helping anybody who stays there to get what they need in order to get the most out of their trip.
