George Tkalych Celebrates 32 Years of Career Success

George Tkalych is celebrating 32 years of career success.

 
George Tkalych today commemorates more than 30 years of career success. Now retired, he operated a highly successful practice for 32 years. As a Head and Neck (Ears, Nose, and Throat) Surgeon, he has assisted countless individuals by restoring their health and well-being in a variety of ways. He gained major recognition in his field for many achievements made throughout his illustrious career.

George Tkalych is renowned throughout the medical community for the many contributions he has made to the field. While a practicing surgeon, he was licensed in numerous locations and had obtained his Alabama State Licensure, Georgia State Licensure, Texas State Licensure, Alberta Provincial Licensure, Ontario Provincial Licensure, and Federal DEA Licensure.

George Tkalych was a member of numerous organizations and societies, including the Canadian Otolaryngology Society, Muscogee County Medical Society, the Southern Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the Columbus Physicians Association, Physicians Group Incorporated, the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology, and Flying Medical Doctors.

In the early 1980s, he led the way for innovation in his field by launching the use of lasers in doing tonsillectomy and was subsequently featured by many major media outlets for his groundbreaking work.

Today, he is involved with a variety of activities, from International Speaking to his work at the Kiwanis Club. At his local Kiwanis Club, where he has been a member for about two years, he was recently elected President and is now set to become the President of the North Kiwanis Club in Columbus, Georgia.

In his spare time, he enjoys deep water fishing with his son Nicholas, who is an engineering student at Auburn University. He enjoys catching a number of different types of fish with his son, including grouper, snapper, mahimahi, and sometimes small tuna.

Another activity that he enjoys during his retirement is the game of golf. He has been golfing for many years. He has been a member and has played golf at the Green Island Country Club for about 20 years. He has learned to be more patient with himself and the ball and has developed a new set of skills and coordination.
