Gene Sommariva has had a very successful career in the medical sales industry, one hallmarked by successes of all kinds.

 
Over the years Gene Sommariva has accumulated an impressive array of accomplishments and accolades within the medical sales industry. Over his ten year career, Gene has continued to be a powerful and impactful force within his company, delivering above and beyond expectations, and providing a shining example of a model employee. During his time as Senior Salesman Gene has sold many products, including Celexa; Aerobid; Tiazac; Benicar; Lexapro; Namenda; Bystolic; Daliresp; Tudorza; Namenda XR. Gene has also been in charge of all points, include psychiatry, primary care, pulmonary specialists, neurologists, cardiologists, and area hospitals. Gene has also worked closely with Managed Care managers, and presented to Managed Care companies of every assortment.

Gene Sommariva's list of achievements goes on and on. He represented company at numerous conferences and conventions, achieved 107% sales percentage for Daliresp; 135% for Tudorza; 103% for Bystolic; and 108%, for Namenda XR. This year Gene was ranked #1 in the nation for President’s Club ending the first of August. In the same year Gene won top District Sales Representative Q1 & Q2, and Regional Representative of the Quarter: Q1 & Q2. The year before Gene was nationally ranked in the top 25% of Territory Sales Representatives, and achieved a 116% for Daliresp; 191% for Tudorza; 131% for Bystolic; and 127% for Namenda XR. Gene also Ranked #1 nationally for Bystolic, achieved formulary status for Tudorza at Danbury Hospital, a very difficult thing to accomplish in the industry. Gene's many accomplishments and accolades in the industry has resulted in him being promoted to several different positions before finally being put in a leadership managerial position, where he hopes to pass on his skill set and demonstrate what it takes to be successful in the industry.

Gene Sommariva also promotes and sells a portfolio of products to Clinics, Hospitals, Physicians other specialized medical or healthcare providers. As well as manages a territory in order to maintain existing physician groups and develop relationships with new physician groups to achieve district and corporate objectives. As a member of the sales team, he works closely with the DM, RAM and other district team members and other groups internal &external, to achieve district and corporate objectives, as well as provide quality consultative service, coordinate and integrate outside alliances, as well as other internal personnel & resources to fit customer needs.
