Emar Mitchell was born and brought up in Harlem, New York. He moved to Watts, California with his mother and sister at a young age, and resided in a community some people refers to as “projects”. He attended high school there and had some stints on the streets before deciding to move back to New York in search of greener pastures.

After he moved back to New York, he started working in the entertainment industry. He has since accrued enormous experience, knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the business. He promotes upcoming artists through various means which include making and selling beats to them, and interviewing them on his weekly radio show on Rockland World Radio. He also makes mix tapes every week for 50 Cents through his affiliation with Alex Murphy.

Furthermore, in order to make a big statement in the industry, he founded his own company which he called Fleek Entertainment. Through the company, he has been able to smoothly go on with his business of promoting upcoming artists, and making beats on his own which he also raps to and freestyles with. He is also into movie making, and he is currently working on a project which he hopes will be a big hit.

Emar Mitchell is highly skilled in reading blueprints and working hands-on with power tools. He also has knowledge of plumbing, wiring, carpentry and roofing. He is certified by The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and he belongs to quite a few associations in various professions which include ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), National Center for Earthquake Engineering Research (NCEER), which is a construction union, and Philosophical Research Society, which is meant for the study of ancient history.

In addition, he is a dedicated Buddhist who has made it a necessity to attend the weekly temple program. He leads an exemplary life of calmness and tranquility. He relaxes by watching sport games such as basketball, football and boxing. Furthermore, he loves spending time with his family, and he tries as much as possible to put smiles on their faces, depriving them of nothing.
