Miami recently hosted a convention for entrepreneurs to gather and share business tips, stories, and network. The yearly convention boasts multiple speakers from around the country and world, and this year was proud to announce that Eduardo Duluc, the highly successful entrepreneur, businessman, and philanthropist, would be giving a speech on finding the inspiration – and the funding – for your business venture. Eduardo Duluc spoke on the second day of the three-day conference.

“I was very happy to accept their invitation to speak,” Eduardo Duluc says. “I have attended this convention for several years now, and have always been impressed with the caliber of their speakers, so to be included among them is an honor.”

Indeed, Eduardo Duluc was one of many other prominent entrepreneurs, known not only in the Miami area, but from cities as widespread as New York City, Houston, Denver, and even London. Many of the talks centered around the best ways to manage your business once it started; Eduardo Duluc was one of the few who addressed the beginning stages of a new venture. His presentation was well-attended and received very positive reviews from several of its attendees.

The organizers of the convention indicated that they chose Eduardo Duluc to speak because he has proven to be so prolific in the creation of his business ventures. To date, he is the CEO of five different companies, and has many side projects in addition to those. In his presentation, Eduardo Duluc spoke about the difficulties in setting up your original business plan, and the pitfalls many new entrepreneurs encounter.

“It’s important to remember that you’re just in the beginning stages,” Eduardo Duluc says. “This isn’t the final product, and it’s okay to have some holes. So many people get lost in the details…just make sure you have a solid foundation, and then start building. The rest will follow.”

Eduardo Duluc advised that people not take this same advice if they are actually building a house – which many of his businesses do – and earned himself a laugh from the audience. He went on to speak about gaining funding for a business venture, and some of the best ways to approach a potential investor.
