In 2008, Dr. Richard Nel founded the Wealth Report Magazine.

Dr. Richard Nel is a business owner, entrepreneur, and investing visionary who has achieved a great deal of success in the business and finance worlds. At the age of 18, he moved out on his own to Pretoria, South Africa in order to begin his life as a successful investment banker. He created an enormously successful property business that would later allow him to form a highly profitable specialist risk business partner finance company called, Gate Investment Group, LTD in 1997. He is currently serving as the Chairman for the investment company that helps small to medium sized businesses in South Africa grows to their full potential. The company has two primary functions that include seeing high returns on company investments and directly supporting the local economy by encouraging entrepreneurial growth.

Dr. Richard Nel graduated from the Commonwealth Open University in 2005 with a Master’s degree in business administration, as well as a Doctorate degree in marketing. His education has no doubt led to a more successful career in the investment realm and given him the knowledge necessary to see if a local business will prove to be successful. He is also an avid Polo player and fan who has achieved success within the sporting realm as well.

Dr. Richard Nel has generated growth for the economy of South Africa and other selected countries within the continent of Africa since 1997. Gate Investment Group, LTD considers financing applications up to around 25 million in all sectors of the economy, with the exception of on lending activities, direct farming operations, underground mining operations, and nonprofit organizations.

Dr. Richard Nel and his investment company specifically select businesses that are small to medium in size and have gross assets under 100 million. The business must run on sound business principles, integrity, drive, vision, and appropriate levels of experience.
