There are few internists who can accomplish as much as Dr. Jessica Peatross has in just a few years. Since deciding to go into medicine, Dr. Jessica Peatross has been awarded many honors.

Dr. Jessica Peatross earned her bachelor’s of arts in biology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. That is also where she attended medical school and completed her residency. While in medical school, Dr. Jessica Peatross received honors in neuroscience, internal medicine, and pediatrics. This helped her land a job as a hospitalist at Norton Healthcare.

At Norton Healthcare, Dr. Jessica Peatross achieved several impressive accomplishments. As an inpatient specialists, she admitted all unassigned patients who come to the emergency room. She had a 99% patient approval rating as a Norton inpatient specialist. Dr. Jessica Peatross was also part of a core measurement team that worked on congestive heart failure measures and COPS readmissions. In that group of doctors, Dr. Jessica Peatross was ranked fourth in patient approval ratings.

“Patient satisfaction is one of my greatest concerns,” says Dr. Jessica Peatross. “I want to make sure each patient has the best experience possible while in my care.”

Dr. Jessica Peatross also stays connected to her professional community. She has been a member of the American Medical Association since 2006. She has also been a member of the Kentucky Medical Association since 2006. Being a part of these organizations helps her to be on top of the latest information and research.

“It is so important to know if a new treatment or test has been created,” says Dr. Jessica Peatross. “The AMA and KMA are ways that I can stay connected and have input in the development of the industry.”

Dr. Jessica Peatross is an upstanding citizen of her community who tries to help patients in the most sincere way. She is a hard working and honest doctor who puts others first.
