With over three decades of experience in medicine that ranges in experience from emergency care to pediatric care, and also stretches towards the management of doctor’s offices.

Jerome Abrams MD is a devoted, caring and highly professional family physician who has spent years in the practice of family medicine. He has a long career history that started right after he completed his three years of residency at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland back in 1980. Before he had begun his residency there, he had received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. On his day of graduation he was awarded the Emmanuel Weinberger Prize in Internal Medicine.

Now, he has over thirty years of experience in the medical field and a long his of accomplishments to complement his career. He has been the founding partner for Dover Family Physicians, Physician Liaison Committee for hospital merger, and founder as well as chairman for the Department of Family Medicine for the Bayhealth Medical Center. He has also been involved with the management of a group practice for over five years, where he was in charge for the addition of two providers as well as supervising the practice administrators.

Jerome Abrams MD has developed a strong and positive reputation with the Kent County community after over 30 years of experience in private practice working to keep families healthy. He is experienced with both inpatient and outpatient care and is skilled in pediatric and newborn care.
