Idlibi first experienced what it was like to run his own business upon completing his education in 1995. He returned to his native Syria and opened a dental practice in Damascus, employing a number of people and providing a valuable service to the local community.

However, it wasn’t until he immigrated to the United States in the year 2000 that he truly began to demonstrate the depth of his entrepreneurial talent. Using the skills that he had learned during 2 years of running his own practice in Syria, combined with the stellar education that he received during his time at Tufts University and the University of Connecticut, Idlibi opened a new dental practice in Connecticut upon arriving into the United States, immediately creating jobs that ranged from dental assistant work through to office works and other pediatric dentists.

Since those early days, Idlibi has learned an enormous amount about how to run his own business, combining the knowledge in his field that is so vital in terms of building his reputation with an ever-growing knowledge about what it takes to properly conduct himself as a businessman, including how to network with fellow professionals and ensuring that his business provides the level of service that patients expect when they visit.

Dr. Ammar Idlibi is now the owner and operator of 2 dental practices in Connecticut, employing more than 40 people in a wide variety of roles. His small businesses have created jobs in the state that is his adopted home, allowing him to contribute directly to the economy and improve the standards of living of a number of people in Connecticut.
