Denny Herzberg is the President at Vitusa Corps located in Englewood, Florida. Denny Herzberg has a busy work schedule; however, he always finds time to serve around his local community. Denny Herzberg serves as a Board of Director at the Belleayre Music Conservatory located in Highmount, New York. The mission of the organization is to present, promote, and support cultural programs that will encourage the use of the Belleayre Mountain as a vital resource in the Catskill region. Denny Herzberg is also a dedicated member to the Rotary Club of Fleischmann’s, New York Chapter. Denny Herzberg is one of over 1.2 million members worldwide that works to identify community needs locally, nationally, and overseas.

Charity is something that Denny Herzberg is extremely passionate about, and he has volunteered in multiple leadership roles in community activities around New York and New Jersey. Denny Herzberg talked about what charity has meant to him, “Charity has always been a huge part of my life. I think it helps create good work ethic and positive character traits in volunteers. I have met so many lifelong friends while working at the Belleayre Music Conservatory and at the Rotary Club. Sometimes I think that I don’t have time to serve on top of my work schedule; however, I realized that through time management I can always find areas in my schedule where I can serve.”

Denny Herzberg hopes that more people will serve in their local communities. “I know that business professionals might think they lack the time to serve, but there are options to make the time. A new alternative I heard about is allowing your staff to take one day off each quarter to go work for a local nonprofit. I think this is a great idea that we might. Denny Herzberg has stated “I think we have to give back with gratitude what we took in. As a European Immigrant to the Dominican Republic, it meant survival and escape from the horrors of Europe during WWII, therefore, I now do what I can not only in the United States but also in the Dominican Republic, country which gave my parents and I a new life.

Denny Herzberg through his actions show your employees that you care about their charitable endeavors, but it also shows the community that your business cares,” he stated. Denny Herzberg is aware that people do not have extra resources in today’s economy to give to charity; however, he offers advice to those in tough financial situations. “If you do not have the funds to donate to a cause, time is just as valuable. Many people think they have to donate thousands of dollars to a cause to make a difference; however, nonprofits will be thankful for anything you can contribute.”
