The area around the land purchased by David Low of United PetroCorp has been producing oil since the early 1900s, and United PetroCorp stands to gain significantly from their upcoming oil field developments in and around Archer County, Texas.

Building location for Project Thirsty Bird is scheduled begin in fall 2013, with a second stage of development and expansion in early 2014. David Low of United PetroCorp has contracted to begin drilling several wells within the oil rich Archer Regular Field. When the multi-stage project is complete, David Low of United PetroCorp estimates that project Thirsty Bird could produce between 150 and 175 barrels of oil per day, making a large contribution to the amount of American oil available in the market within a small time frame.

With the success of Project Thirsty Bird, David Low of United PetroCorp also intends to develop further in the same area, and to investigate other sources of oil in the Texas shale fields. He is very interested in looking for more sources in Texas, as United PetroCorp is a company that loves to work in Texas as much as possible.
