David Hanlon works with Cardinal Health as the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. He has held this position since August 2014. Previously he worked for four other health care and pharmaceutical companies in a high level management position. He has been involved in designing, starting, and validating new facilities to manufacture pharmaceutical products of all types and has a wealth of experience dealing with Class I-III medical device products. His knowledge and experience made him the perfect candidate to work as a functional lead for the integration of a 1 Billion dollar endo vascular and cardio vascular device business.

These devices are Class II and Class III products. They were assigned these classification due to their effectiveness and safety. These devices include items such as the MYNX Vascular Closure Devices, which is used to seal the femoral access site during surgery. This device was created with safety in mind, however since it is a vital surgery tool, it has been assigned the highest classification and requires approval from the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) before it can be placed on the market. One of the reasons David Hanlon was selected for this project, is his knowledge of FDA regulations. Over the years he has developed close relations with the FDA and understands every one of their procedures and regulations. He is highly skilled at developing action plans that directly address corrective and preventative regulatory compliance.

During this integration, Hanlon will be overseeing all quality and regulatory aspects including all quality system integrations. He will also be handling all of the regulatory licenses and transfers in fifty-nine countries. This task will require his attention to detail and his passion for planning. Hanlon is an expert at developing a thorough plan that takes into account all possible
issues. He always executes a plan and achieves his goal and the desired results.
