Darren Butt is an expert in property management and one of the United Kingdom's financial elite. He devotes his time to the education of the populace not just on the ins and outs of property management but to the eventual goal of a bright financial future.

However, this does not mean Darren Butt has not had his tragedies. In June of 2012, his son, Jack Butt, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. This was a huge shock to his family, which includes his wife, Amanda Butts. In fact, it was nothing short of terrifying.

Darren Butt explained:

“It is such a helpless place to be, when your child is sick and there is literally nothing you can do about it except trust the medical professionals. Not to mention, when there is a tumor in the brain, you can barely stop yourself from thinking about what might happen if you child's personality is changed irrevocably.”

Jack Butt, fortunately, survived, as dedicated doctors, through surgery, managed to remove the tumor, though there were still complications. It was only through knowledge gained through research that this miracle was achieved. It was, in fact, watching and talking to the doctors, that Darren Butt realized what importance continued research into childhood oncology held, and dedicated much of his wealth to research into the field.

This however, is not enough, and Darren Butt looks to all with the means to donate to continue the search to eradicate pediatric cancer.

Darren Butt told the press:

“I know that everyone knows about cancer and the devastation that it can wreak on an individual family. Still, I do believe that very few people realize just how much impact they can have on the advancement of cancer research. With just a few dollars of donations, people can have a very real effect on childhood cancer research.”

Darren Butt, with compassion for all families going through the same ordeal, pleads to all those able to contribute to research into childhood oncology. It is only through the collected effort and donations of all who are able that childhood cancer can finally be ended.
