Cidra Country Club provides guests with more accommodation options to attract larger parties. Families are encouraged to explore new options.

Cidra, Puerto Rico (SBWire) August 6, 2014 – Cidra Country Club is working to become a more versatile attraction in the mountains of central Puerto Rico. The resort has been popular with couples and honeymooners for many years, but Cidra Country Club announced they would like to attract more families to their facility in coming years.

Cidra Country Club is located 40 minutes outside of San Juan. Away from the popular beaches, the location of Cidra Country Club is unusual, but people have been visiting the resort regularly for several decades since it first opened in 1946. In 2000, Cidra Country Club underwent extensive renovations before reopening as the Treasure Island Hotel.

Cidra Country Club has extensive facilities for guests, which include villa suites appropriate for families. The hotel deluxe and superior rooms are adequate size for couples visiting Cidra Country Club, but larger parties need the additional space offered in villas.

The villas are available in three levels – deluxe, private, and total experience. Each level offers a different selection of services, and total experience provides guests with the largest space and most amenities.

Cidra Country Club offers guests an array of services outside accommodations. The poolside area is furnished with chaise lounges, hammocks, and beds where guests enjoy relaxing. The area also features a snack bar that provides beverages and light appetizers to visitors.

Cidra Country Club wants to be a family-friendly destination. “Our location in the mountains creates the perfect spot for families to have a relaxing but adventurous vacation together,” says a representation of Cidra Country Club, “so we are working hard to make our facilities welcoming to young people and kids who might spend time here in the future.”

Another service Cidra Country Club provides is large halls and salons that are available for rent. The staff at Cidra Country Club is responsible for planning and overseeing large events like weddings, business meetings, and occasionally family reunions. They hope the combination of villa accommodations and event spaces will attract more business in this department.

Cidra Country Club also provides services to parents who take time away from their kids during their visit at the resort. “Their massage and spa treatments completely enhanced my vacation and helped me truly relax without worrying about my kids,” said a Cidra Country Club patron.

Families visiting Cidra Country Club also have access to various daytrips around central Puerto Rico. The El Yunque National Forest is close to Cidra Country Club. With hiking trails and waterfalls, this type of activity is suitable for children. To see the rainforest, families need to drive to the top of the road and hike into the cloud forest portion of El Yunque.

The town center, Cidra Lake, Perico’s Waterfall, and the Fisherman’s Club are all located close to Cidra Country Club. Families who need extra activities can easily access these locations from Cidra Country Club.

“We want all of our guests to feel at home,” a Cidra Country Club representative says, “so we are offering more fun and adventure than ever before.” With all of these attractions, Cidra Country Club patrons are reporting the experience is perfect for families who want to take an exciting getaway.
