Christopher Manning announced that he has consulted with Konover Corporation to redo the Fairfield by Marriot Resort near Cape Cod, formerly owned by Manning.

Christopher Manning bought what was then the Days Inn Hyannis near Cape Cod in 1993 when he started his company, Pylon Hospitality Management. Since then, the tourism industry in the area has stayed strong despite ups and downs from the economy as a whole. Manning operated the hotel until 2014 when he sold the property to Konover Corporation. Knowing that Konover would need to renovate the property and turn it into the Fairfield Resort by Marriot, he helped Konover conduct the operations needed to make the renovations possible. He has been consulting with Konover on the transformation ever since.

Christopher Manning has lived and worked near Cape Cod for decades, and he is always pleased to help the area develop more tourism-based revenue streams any chance he gets. Manning has run his hotels for years and continues to be an active participant in the tourism industry to this day. The opportunity for consulting with Konover to create a world-class resort near Cape Cod was too big for him to pass up. Manning says that he enjoys working with corporate partners to develop a better Cape Cod area and bring in even more tourism and travelers.

Set to open in August of 2015, in the middle of the tourism season, the Fairfield by Marriott will give guests the chance to explore all the beautiful beaches near Cape Cod and provide access to the shopping and dining hubs in the area. The focus of the new resort is value—guests will be able to stay in well-furnished guest rooms and suites, enjoy hot, healthy complimentary breakfasts, and relax by the pool. Another emphasis that Christopher Manning of Cape Cod helped Konover create is on the hotel lobby. The design of the lobby of the Fairfield will be exquisite and much more than the typical drab office feels of some hotels.

Christopher Manning of Cape Cod lives in Hyannis with his family, and he says that the continued development and improvement of the area is great for business and for anyone who wants to experience the Cape Cod area of Massachusetts for themselves.
