Carly Norausky is one of those individuals who was instilled with the rare ability to relate to the masses, which has led to her successful career in marketing. Currently, Carly Norausky is employed at the Texas Medical Center as the Marketing Manager. The Texas Medical Center is the world’s largest medical facility that has the mission to promote the highest quality health for all people. At the center, Carly Norausky is in charge of developing and executing strategic business and marketing plans on behalf of the corporation and individual business service groups.

Although her job requires an immense amount of organization and strategy, Carly Norausky believes it all comes down to communication. Carly Norausky recently sat down to discuss the importance of communication, she stated, “I believe that efficient and effective communication is critical to succeed in any industry, especially marketing. Communication techniques serve as the bridge for all messages, and it is what brings teams together. I think that businesses need to instill the power of efficient communication within all employees to ensure success. I know it is a difficult task, but it will increase team productivity going into the future.”

Carly Norausky is convinced that effective communication can be learned through easy steps. “Although many people are born natural communicators, everyone can master the art. Overall, I think the problem stems from listening. We live in a fast-paced culture where listening has become waiting to talk. It shouldn’t be this way. Active listening involves working to understand the speaker, what they are saying, and their emotions behind the message. Even though marketing is communicating on a much larger scale, I still use these general principles while developing campaigns. I try to listen to the public to establish what they are going to be most receptive to—that always guarantees success with my campaigns,” Carly Norausky stated.

In the future, Carly Norausky hopes to continue her career in marketing and make her name known in the industry.
