Brian Sirmon: True Civil Servant

Brian Sirmon is a true civil servant dedicated to those in need and those living within his community.

 
Brian Sirmon has had a significant and successful career as a law enforcement officer. He has worked numerous positions since the beginning of his career in 1999 for a number of police forces around the country.

Brian Sirmon has served in the position of Field Training Officer, Sheriff Deputy Sergeant, and as a Certified Taser International Instructor. He has achieved over 15 years of successful experience in the field and acquired over fifteen thousand hours worth of certified training. Brian also worked as a shift supervisor responsible for making shift decisions and supervising other officers.

Brian Sirmon has also served his community through a number of nonprofit organizations including Servants of the Poor. He was placed on the board of the organization in 2010 and later elected president of the board in 2012. The organization tasks itself with assisting those who are disabled, in need of mental health assistance, and those in drug abuse situations. As the president of the board, Brian was able to implement a plan to pay off more than 38,000 dollars in debt that the non-profit incurred under previous leadership.

Brian Sirmon has achieved over fifteen hundred certified training hours over his 15 year career as a law enforcement professional. His advanced and extensive training turned him into one of the finest police officers amongst the officers that served with him. One of his greatest accomplishments within his professional career was becoming a Certified Taser International Instructor; less than one percent of police officers worldwide are certified trainers. He also has experience and training concerning public relations; he understands what information to release to the media and how to do it.

In addition to the successful career Brian Sirmon has achieved within the law enforcement realm, he has also achieved significant success in his philanthropic endeavors as well. Brian is heavily involved in the non-profit organization called Servants of the Poor and has been serving on the board since 2010. While on the board in 2011, he organized a tornado relief trip to Alabama and Georgia in order to provide water and medical supplies to hundreds of victims. Recognized for his good work, he was elected president of the board in 2012.
