Bob Moretti is training to run the 2015 Fleet Feet Sports Soldier Field 10 Mile Race over the Memorial Day weekend. He'll be running as a member of Team in Training in order to raise money to support new research into lymphoma, leukemia, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.

He enjoys running in his spare time and finds it an excellent way to stay in shape. He also enjoys the competition. "I run frequently and have raced in a few 5K and 8K races, and I once completed a half marathon in 2012 in under two hours," he says, adding that the exact time was one hour and fifty-three minutes. "I'm planning on running in the Soldier Field 10 Mile Race to support Lymphoma victims and patients; my cousin was diagnosed in 2012."

Team in Training is the world's largest and most successful charity endurance- training program. Since its founding in 1988, the organization has raised more than 1.4 billion dollars to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Lymphoma is cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of the body's natural immunity. It affects white blood cells, which are the cells of the immune system. Bob Moretti is one of more than six hundred thousand people who have run with Team In Training in the last twenty-seven years.

Other charity fundraising groups in the Soldier Field 10 Mile Race include the Team to End AIDS and Team Salute, which honors the nation's military. The event is scheduled for May 23, a Saturday morning. A part of the ten-mile course will go along Lake Shore Drive, which will be closed to vehicles for the race. Organizers are planning an upgraded finish on the 50 yard line at Soldier Field, the home of the Chicago Bears.

Bob Moretti is a professional architectural specialist with eight years of experience. He has worked at Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance since 2011, and says that his goal with the company is to be a reliable and trustworthy source of information for commercial roofing products. He is a 2005 graduate of Arizona State University, where he studied business and received a Bachelor's degree in Management.
