Betty Waltersdorf is an English teacher who loves to spend time with her family, and always puts them first.

Betty Waltersdorf is a woman who has always poured everything she has into her profession, because she cares. She is a professional English teacher who loves each of her individual students, and works hard so that they are given the opportunities necessary to succeed in the world after education. However, she has also learned that you have to have your priorities straight, and you must set aside time to be with your family, as they take priority. Though Betty spends much time teaching the children of strangers, it does not interfere with her teaching her own two children Bobby and Jessica.
As a matter of fact, she says that all of the experience she received from teaching children as a profession has helped her to understand her children better, especially as they got older. She knows just how much pressure her children can be under when attending classes. They reach a certain sensitive age in which there are several social and academic pressures because they are cultivating who they will become as people later in life. By understanding this struggle Betty Waltersdorf can better relate to her children and give them advice when needed.
Betty Waltersdorf says the person that suffers the most because of her workaholic tendencies is her husband. Though he takes it all in stride, after a long day of work and then coming home to helping the children, sometimes it seems that there is little time left over for her husband. Betty says she still tries to make a conscious effort to get a bit of bonding time with her husband, and that life has a funny way of providing that whenever we ask for it.
Betty Waltersdorf says that the key to getting quality time with your family is simply to plan things out ahead of time and to keep things consistent. That way your family can operate as one cohesive unit, maximizing the amount of quality time you can spend learning and growing with each other. Dinner time is especially a great place for the family unit to review their day and assess their overall quality of life together.
