New fashion designer Beata Bohman plans to donate money to Operation Smile, one of her favorite charitable organizations. Her donations to Operation Smile will come on a consistent basis based on he business, and she is currently developing a plan to have one of her fashion lines donate a portion of its profits to the organization.
Beata Bohman has been an extremely generous person since her early childhood, and the financial success she has experienced has done nothing but increase her appetite for giving. “I’ve always just wanted to help people, doesn’t everyone?” said Beata Bohman. When she was just a little girl, Beata Bohman’s mother had to sit down and lecture her on her extremely generous habits. Oftentimes her mother would give her something only to find it gone in a matter of hours. “If I saw somebody without something, I wanted to be the person to give it to them,” said Beata Bohman.

While her contributions will now be bigger in size, the motivation is still the same. Beata Bohman just wants to help, and her future donations to Operation Smile are indicative of this. Operation Smile is a nonprofit medical service based out of Norfolk, Virginia. It was founded in 1982 by William Magee, a leading craniofacial surgeon, as an organization dedicated to helping children with facial deformities. These facial deformities usually consist of cleft palates and cleft lips. “I love Operation Smile so much because of what they stand for. Just listen to the name and you will know what I’m talking about. They just want to see kids smile, what can be better than that?” said Beata Bohman.

A portion of Beata Bohman’s future contributions to Operation Smile help fund actual medical procedures. That part is what Beata Bohman enjoys so much. She can see tangible results, knowing her money is physically improving a child’s life. “These procedures help these kids in so many ways. Physically, they allow kids to live a more comfortable life. Emotionally, they give kids the confidence of a more normal life,” said Beata Bohman. Beata Bohman’s recent contribution will surely not be her last, “This is an organization I plan on being involved with for a long time.”
