Azzam Elder is a respected lawyer and businessman from Michigan, but in August 2013, he traveled to Nicaragua in order to participate in charity work. As a part of a group from the Rotary Clubs of Dearborn and Houston, Azzam Elder had the chance to work with the “children of the dump.” This charitable trip was an influential experience for Azzam Elder.
The goal of the trip was to connect with these impoverished children and offer aid in any way possible. Azzam Elder was honored to be a part of this trip and threw himself into working with the children in Nicaragua. “It’s an incredible experience to see so many children living in such great poverty,” comments Azzam Elder. “When you see these children, you can’t help but offer to help in any way you can.”
Throughout the trip, Azzam Elder worked hard with the other member of the team from the Rotary Clubs to improve the circumstances of these children. “We can’t help every poverty-stricken child in Nicaragua in one trip,” Azzam Elder explains, “but we did everything we could to touch the lives of many different children.”
When Azzam Elder is not devoting his time to charity work in Nicaragua, he serves as a top Michigan lawyer with a specialty in health care law. As a health care law expert, Azzam Elder is able to solve complex problems for his clients, which include physicians and health care providers.
Azzam Elder is also an established businessman thanks to his position as the founder and CEO of Halo-Bloom LLC. The investment group is known for providing excellent business advisors. Through his work with Halo-Bloom, Azzam Elder has created connections with businesses around the world. With clients conducting business in Asia, the Middle East, and pan Africa, Azzam Elder has strong global ties.
As he adjusts to life back in the U.S., Azzam Elder hopes to use the experiences he gained while in Nicaragua to spur greater interest in the plight of the “children of the dump.” The trip had such a great impact on him that Azzam Elder hopes to return to Nicaragua to work with these children again.
