Angela Rapley dedicated herself to becoming a nurse from a young age, making the decision as a teenager based on her interest in the medical sciences and her desire to help those in need, particularly children.
This led her to studying at the College of Nursing at the University of Missouri, where she quickly dedicated herself to her studies. Her diligence eventually led to her earning her degree in 2005, graduating at the top of her class in the process.

Angela Rapley found that demand for her services was high as soon as she had left college, becoming a nurse at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital soon after her graduation. This position helped her to quickly fulfill those early teenage wishes, allowing her to work in the medical field and, just as importantly, provide care to any children that found themselves in the medical center.

Her dedication to her profession quickly led to her developing a reputation for quality care amongst her patients and fellow staff members, with Rapley spending much of her time continually researching the medical field and working on her patient interactions in order to improve as a nurse and ensure that all patients receive the level of care that they expect.

This has allowed her to enjoy a successful career thus far, culminating in the celebration of her 10th year at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in 2015. During her time at the center, she has dedicated herself entirely to her craft, becoming a registered nurse in the process and helping to treat countless children.

As Angela Rapley moves beyond that milestone, Angela Rapley continues to dedicate herself to constant improvement and she is always working on ways to improve as a nurse. She also uses the benefit of her years of experience in the profession to help younger nurses get to grips with their new role, ensuring that the standards that she holds herself to are mirrored by other staff at the hospital. She is now looking forward to many more years in the profession and aims to continue making an important difference in the lives of the youngsters who find themselves in her care.
