Andy Simons has always had a deep connection with the game of golf. His dad taught him at a young age, and then they competed together in father and son tournaments for charity. Andy always loved the sport, but even appreciated it more as a way to bond with his father. They won multiple times together and really enjoyed the time they got to share on the course with each other. When he was old enough, Andy competed in some tournaments of his own; and he even played for his high school and college teams.

All throughout schooling, Andy Simons found ways to stay on the golf course. Not only did he play golf as a hobby and competitively, but he also worked on a golf course as a golf pro to supplement his tuition. He was studying to become a physical therapist, a medical professional that requires well over six years of schooling. He made it through the entire process, got his degree, and immediately started looking for ways he could leverage that degree to stay close to the golf course.

That was when he started working as a golf instructor on the side, while also working full-time at a physical therapy office in downtown Austin. His work n golf instruction also helped him to realize all the muscular and skeletal challenges that come along with training to become a golfer. And in that, he found a way to move up to becoming a golf trainer as well, giving him a multi-angular approach to professional golf instruction.

His work gained the attention of multiple PGA caliber athletes, who sought Andy Simons’ services not only for his demonstrated expertise in the sport, but also his ability to identity and help cure any ailments, pains or injuries that occur in relation to the sport of golf. And now with over a decade of experience ad medicine and over two decades of experience playing golf, Andy Simons has worked himself into a position where he can still be a medical professional while still getting plenty of quality time in on the greens. For him, it is a career that had been a lifetime in the making.
