Andreas Riis Olsen hopes to inspire others to live a healthy lifestyle, and he recently spoke out about growing trends that will make the integration of fitness into life easy.
Andreas Riis Olsen revealed his hopes of motivating others, he stated, “I love fitness. It has been a huge part of my life since a young age. However, I hate the gym. I think society has been a huge stigma on fitness that the only way to be healthy is to spend hours at the gym. If you enjoy going to the gym, that’s great! But I know it is not for everyone. I think gyms can be extremely intimidating for individuals who have never worked out before. I want to encourage those who are new to fitness to find new ways to engage in exercise that is enjoyable to them. I think one of the major reasons why people are not engaging in physical activity is because they view it as a chore. Exercising should never feel like a chore! It should be an enjoyable experience that you look forward to.”
Andreas Riis Olsen has witnessed growing fitness trends that are sweeping the nation and positively influencing people to get healthy. He spoke about some of these new aerobic options, “One of my favorite trends of 2013 are fun runs. There are so many options including mud runs, color runs, and obstacle courses. Everyone wants to be involved in these races because they are enjoyable, but it is also a long distance. Three miles is a substantial distance to conquer on foot, and these races are encouraging more to do it,” Andreas Riis Olsen stated.
