Ammar Idlibi is a pediatric dentist who has aims to help children maintain healthy teeth. He has helped to develop a new sweet drink that does not use sugar and is healthier for youngsters to drink.

Ammar Idlibi has enjoyed a distinguished career as a pediatric dentist that has spanned more than 20 years. Having received his education from such prestigious institutions as Tufts University and the University of Connecticut, Idlibi established himself by opening 2 dental practices in the state of Connecticut, each of which offers a high standard of care to each and every patient who visits.

Ammar Idlibi
is also a noted public speaker, having held a number of seminars on the subject of dentistry that he believes have helped a number of his fellow professionals improve the care that they provide. Most notably, he is also a regular speaker at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists’ annual meetings, in addition to having published a number of articles on the subject.

Now, he is turning his attention towards alternative ways to help promote healthy teeth amongst youngsters with the creation of a new sweet drink that is intended to help parents provide an alternative to the sugary soft drinks that children often crave. He hopes that his involvement in this project will help children to maintain their dental health, resulting in fewer cavities and healthier teeth as they progress into adulthood.
Named Healthy Sweet, the range of beverages is aimed solely at the children’s market and is completely sugar free. While this means that the drinks contain no added sugars, as many other soft drinks do, it also means that the range is completely free of the natural sugars that other drinks aimed at children include.

Working alongside a beverage chemist, Idlibi has helped to develop a drink that is completely safe for younger teeth, stating: “This is 100 percent natural. I don't want to put any preservatives in it or artificial sweeteners. Parents don’t like to give these things to their children, and that's not something I like to give to my own children.”

Ammar Idlibi’s new product is low in calories and reduces the level of oral bacteria in the child’s mouth, the prevalence of which is one of the leading causes of tooth decay. Pending the granting of a patent, Idlibi hopes that the drink will soon become a regular fixture in some of the largest retail outlets in the world and he is currently considering new ways in which he can promote healthy teeth to the youth of America, perhaps by expanding the concept to foods and other beverages.
