Cesar Parra is a man with a cherished history of success. Born in Colombia, he immigrated to the United States to attend the prestigious universities of Harvard and Boston University. He achieved post-graduate education at BU and soon launched a successful career as a pediatric dentist and a professor of dentistry. These early marks of success were only the beginning as Parra pursued his passion in the world of equestrian sports and the sport of dressage. He achieved great success, riding in competitions around the world such as the 1999, 2003, and 2011 Pan AM Games, 2002 and 2006 World Equestrian Games, the 2004 Olympic Games, the 2005 FEI World Cup, and the 2014 FEI World Cup.

He established the highly successful establishment of Paiffe Performance, a specialty operation that trains horses and riders alike in the exciting sport and discipline of dressage. Parra has been the man behind a number of outstanding riders and horses over the years, placing nationally ranked and internationally recognized finishes in countless competitions.

Parra became a naturalized citizen in 2009 and now represents the United States regularly in international events. He is sought from near and afar for his exemplary skill and experienced hand in horse training. Parra was taught Classical German Training Methods while in Germany, and employs a variety of specialize methods and programs to condition and train horses for competition.

Parra is a well-regarded figure in the sport in deference to his achievements over the years and sportsmanship exhibited throughout the events. He has won competitive medals as an international representative in the sport for two countries, an experience that few others can attest to. Cesar Parra attributes his success to drive, hard work, and solid principles and the formula has produced winners time and time again.

One of Dr. Parra’s recent successes was the national ranking of two six-year old Oldenburgs that were ranked numbers one and two in the nation. Paiffe Performance operates out of Jupiter Florida and Whitehouse Station, New Jersey and has produced countless other winning horses and riders on the national and international scene.
