Science Conferences Routinely Attended by Bharath Balu

Bharath Balu has attended many science conferences. He has plenty of experience at both poster and oral presentations.

 
Harrisonburg, VA - There are many conferences professionals engage in every year. Business professionals attend business conferences just as scientists attend science conferences. Scientists will attend a conference that follows their discipline or area of study. Bharath Balu himself has attended a number of conferences and has been a presenter for over 30 different conferences.

"It is always an honor to be asked to present your research at a conference. There is a lot of work involved in giving a presentation but as long as you are comfortable at public speaking, it can have its own element of fun," says Bharath Balu. He made his first research presentation at the Annual Midwestern Conference of Parasitologists at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois in 2001.

In 2002, Bharath Balu attended two conferences but made four presentations. "I had three poster presentations at the Molecular Parasitology Meeting, Marine Biological Laboratory in Massachusetts and an oral presentation at the Annual Midwestern Conference of Parasitologists at Millikin University in Illinois," recalls Bharath Balu.

Between 2001 and 2012, Bharath Balu made 36 presentations at various science conferences nationally and internationally. Out of the 36 presentations, 3 were made internationally. Bharath Balu's most recent presentation occurred in November of 2012, at the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene 61st Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.

Bharath Balu's international presentations were made in Panama and Italy. His work made up two presentations at the Molecular Approaches to Malaria Conference in Lorne, Australia in 2008. It was in 2011, that he once again traveled internationally to attend and present his research on Novel Insights into Gene Regulation of Malaria Parasites at the Gordon Research Conference on Malaria Eradication and Control in Lucca, Italy.

Bharath Balu has attended many science conferences. He has plenty of experience at both poster and oral presentations. Bharath Balu also presented his research through published articles. From his first published article in 2003 to his most recent in 2013, Bharath Balu's research has appeared in a number of highly regarded science journals. At the end of 2012, Bharath Balu had a total of 19 published articles available in the PubMed database.
