Denver, CO, April 22, 2013 - Alex Kacsh is a 17 year-old high school student from Lakewood, CO. For years he has been leading the charge to change the US education system for the better. Now he is looking for more. He is looking to start an Education Revolution. He is partnering with Occupy the Roads on a national tour of schools, promoting and demonstrating at the next student walkout on May 10th, and kicking off his crowdfunding campaign to raise support for filming a documentary of the change as it happens.

No stranger to politics, Alex has been pushing his way into the political scene from the ripe old age of 13. The product of an unconventional school that allows student led learning and real world experience for their students, his passion to protect his own right to a good education has expanded over the years to include a desire for a total revamp of "No Child Left Behind" and "Race to the Top".

He and his fellow activists (many prefer to be called just "citizens") are planning protests for change in education across the country the week of May 6th. His home state of Colorado will be hosting another walkout on May 10th and a demonstration at the Capital in Denver by students, teachers and parents. Alex has also partnered with Occupy the Roads to raise funds for a bus for youth to travel the country and spread the word about what schools should and could be doing to provide passion driven curriculum to their students.

Alex has also kicked off a grass roots fundraising campaign at http://www.gofundme.com/2g6y0s where followers and supporters can donate to help him purchase camera equipment to film a documentary of these events and the outcome. Alex directed an award winning documentary on his unconventional school when he was 15 years-old called "The Whole Picture".
