Fuses Love, Psychic Powers & a Demon Hell-bent on Turning Earth into a Second Hell

Masterfully crafted by Dedrick Frazier, ‘Ghost Chaser: The Curse of Steel’ follows a simple man with an incredibly complicated past, as his psychic powers uncover a plot to turn Earth into a new and improved version of Hell. Fused with his new love interest, what ensues is a gripping and chilling adventure worthy of any bestseller. It’s not surprising that one critic recently wrote, “Want to be genuinely scared? Let the author's rich prose take you on an exhilarating ride of good and evil.”

Savannah, Georgia – While the horror genre has long been a staple of the literary world, both readers and critics are currently crying out for wholly-unique new narratives that don’t succumb to recycling of the “same-old” concepts. Thankfully, author Dedrick Frazier is stepping up to the plate with gusto.

Frazier knows his own talent, admitting that “no one can tell my story like me”. He’s correct, ‘Ghost Chaser: The Curse of Steel’ is compelling to say the very least.

Synopsis:

Life is a tragic comedy. And then we die. In a world that rarely allows for second chances, Dorian Steel has found himself with just such an opportunity. Orphaned as a baby and later incarcerated as a teen, his life has been anything but happy or normal. Now, the visions have started. The nightmares of a dark presence have brought him no peace, but rather an ominous warning. The demons from a past he does not know will not die. Still, that's only the beginning of his troubles. Hell is coming with razor-sharp claws. A loner by nature, Steel prefers to keep his head low while creating works of art as a landscaper, but he cannot escape the ugly truth that you don't always get to choose your destiny--sometimes it chooses you.

The psychic abilities that have been a curse in his eyes are stronger than he realizes and more important than he could ever imagine. He is a man riddled with guilt for his past mistakes and he does not let himself forget them. As a personal punishment, Steel keeps himself from the one woman that can make him happy, but that will change when his nightmares become reality. Soon, his fears and desires will collide. An ancient evil draws near. Andras is the god of quarrels. He is a pure-bred demon that was reared from the very flesh of Lucifer, but even Hell won't have this abomination. Banished from the lakes of fire, Andras seeks to take the land that God made for man as his own--a second Hell. Hoping to unleash his thirty legions of demonic souls upon an unsuspecting human race, nothing short of complete annihilation will satisfy him, but there is one problem.

A group of hunters has exiled the son of Lucifer to a dark, mountainous terrain in another dimension using a sacred and mystical weapon known as a Keris--a small curved dagger made centuries ago in Indonesia. In order for his reign to come to fruition, Andras must escape this prison. His legions are loyal. He has help in our world. Bashir the demon is a general in the dark army of Andras.

“I design each of my novels, from the top to the bottom, to break new ground in the horror genre and to establish myself as a leading voice,” explains the author. “Horror has so many possibilities, but has recently become stagnant through an onslaught of books obsessed with vampires and zombies. I’m trying to inject literal new blood.”

Continuing, “I speak to the common man in a way that no other author can. My intention is to fill every reader’s mind with a set of expectations and predictions, before throwing them in a completely different direction; into a story that they won’t be forgetting any time soon. Dorian is the perfect guide.”

Readers agree, leaving a slew of positive reviews. Danny Lawson comments, “What an exhilarating read! I'm an avid reader and although this is not my usual genre I try to read any southern authors which Mr. Frazier is evidently, born and bred. This story of good and evil truly grips you and won't turn loose until you get to the end. The details pull you in and put you into the situations with Dorian and you can't wait to see how he will triumph. Can't wait to see what else this new writer gives us.”

Constance Rose adds, “Want to be genuinely scared? Let the author's rich prose take you on an exhilarating ride of good and evil. The story reveals itself through the testament of one Dorian Steel, who tells his story in a confidential tone as if speaking just to you. The characters and setting convey the sumptuous and colorful world of coastal Georgia, as only someone who resides there could so genuinely recreate. Once I started this story, I couldn't stop till I read how it all would end. I highly recommend this book for the entertaining read it is, the scare is a bonus.”
