Father, former member of the US Coast Guard and Long Island native, Chef Barret has been very busy in the last year working in the restaurant industry, making appearances, broadcasting with fellow HK Season 11 alumni, Anthony Rodriguez on "Triple F with the Chef". (Food, Fashion and Fitness) and appearing on The Food Network.

One of Chef Barret's greatest passions is the ongoing fight to knock out bullying by taking his passion for food on the road to send the message: "No Matter What Negative Words or Actions Others Say or Do To You...Follow Your Dreams Whatever They May Be. The Only Person to Keep You from Succeeding and Achieving Your Dreams Is You!"

Chef Barret is the spokesperson for "We're Kickin' It", a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. With them, he shares the message of unity, respect, humility and kindness for oneself and others.

Currently, Chef Barret has a campaign up on a crowdfunding site: http://www.gofundme.com/chefbarret. It's for a food truck that will give him a vehicle (pun intended) to create delicious creative meals for people across the USA. With the support of the Directors of Kickin' It, he is raising funds for the organization (meaning they are tax deductible). This endeavor will help send a powerful message of support, determination, strength and working together where everyone benefits!

ALL funds generated through GoFundMe.com will secure and support the endeavors for the food truck and the culinary arts programs at the Kickin' It Kids Center.
