Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, UK, July 01, 2014 /PressReleasePing/ - Here at Quality Cottages we're looking forward to seeing a boom in the number of adrenaline junkies visiting our North Wales Holiday Cottages.

We already get plenty of wakeboarders staying at our Abersoch Holiday Cottages and hundreds of rock climbers staying at our holiday cottages in Snowdonia National Park, but the number of thrill-seekers could soon shoot up.

That's thanks to a number of exciting new developments in the area, which look sure to attract visitors in their thousands to the area.

We've already blogged about ZipWorld in Snowdonia – which is home to Europe's longest zip line – and now the company that owns ZipWorld is set to start work on Bounce Below – which will be the world's largest underground trampoline.

On top of that work has also started on Surf Snowdonia – an artificial lake which will have wave generators meaning surfers can practice their skills well in land from the coast and away from Britain's traditional surf hotspots.

Bounce Below is set to be housed in a gigantic cavern created by slate miners, and will open at the end of this week on July 4.

According to the company building Bounce Below, it's the first trampoline of its kind. The plans are for three huge trampolines to be suspended in the cavern and linked by 60 foot long slides.

With access to the caves by a train, and the walls of the underground cavern lit with thousands of LED lights, a trip to the cave sounds like it'll be an amazing experience which is sure to attract holiday makers to North Wales.

By this time next year there'll also be another exciting new attraction for adrenaline junkies, thanks to Surf Snowdonia.

Set to open at Easter in 2015, the artificial lake is likely to be a haven for surfers from across Britain - with the wave park set to be the only completely reliable wave in the country.

So if you're looking to head to North Wales and experience these amazing attractions why not check out our selection of more than 300 holiday cottages across Wales?
