It is made from a patient’s white blood cells which are engineered in the lab to fight the prostate cancer and then injected back into the patient by IV injection.

• Clinical trials – Clinical trials have proven to be effective in treating advanced prostate cancer. Currently approved drugs in clinical trials for advanced prostate cancer include Zytiga, Xtandi, and Provenge.
