A Forum-Based Website Launched This Week Aims To Point The Finger At Those Customers Who Should Be Banned From Public View and Flogged In The Streets With The Very Same Attitude They Dish Out To Minimum Wage Workers.

England, UK, March 07, 2013 - Launched this week, HowMayIAssistYou.co.uk gives a fun and lighthearted insight into the service industry. An open forum aimed at service sector workers encourages users to sign up and post their silly, sad and scary stories of “life on the front line” of customer service.

Free to use and easy to register, users will be joining in discussions in no time, with enticing topics such as “Guest Say Whaaa?!?”, “When You Just Want To Punch Them In The Face” and “Things Do Go Right Sometimes”.

“Some things that I’ve heard coming from a guest’s mouth can make your jaw drop” explains owner, 27 year-old Chris Bowen, “They expect everything to go without a hitch and if it doesn’t, they are ready for an unrelenting attack on the nearest worker in order to be compensated with a gift voucher or free bottle of wine. Pathetic! HowMayIAssistYou.co.uk is a forum that helps workers let off steam by sharing these horror stories with each other”

After working six years in various customer-facing roles including onboard luxury cruise ships, Chris was at his wits end. He learned of a website called Cruise Critic, whereby people who have sailed on ships can post reviews of their voyages. This forum inevitably turned into quite a negative place with crewmembers’ names being revealed in negative scenarios. It was getting to the point where guests were threatening to “name you on Cruise Critic” and Chris saw an opportunity to turn the tables on the vile people who were making his life a misery (and paying his wages).

Chris has big plans for his future with other projects in the pipeline.
For How May I Assist You, this is just the beginning.
“I plan to create a hub for people who work in the service industry, including job searching, training sessions and more”

The website is live and available to use at http://www.HowMayIAssistYou.co.uk and website users can contact the site at [email protected]
As Chris is still working on cruise ships (only just) he is available for press enquiries at [email protected]
