This is a problem because muscle burns energy. With less muscles in your body, your body will simply burn less fat. This makes it very hard not to start gaining weight after you go back to a regular diet. If you exercise and build up your muscle mass you will start to burn more fat. Focus on Weight:What does it matter if you lose a lot of weight, if most of it is water and muscle.
