A lot has happened since Peter Brincker back in 1998 opened his private practice in Charlottenlund, Denmark. It marked the clinic as the first in Denmark to perform laser treatments. Likewise, Peter Brincker and his practice were the first to operate on myopia, farsightedness, and structural defects in the late eighties and early nineties.

Worldwide, Peter Brincker has also made a name for himself regarding eye and laser surgery. His clinic was the first in the world to acquire ZEISS 'new "Femtosecond" laser for LASIK, 2007. And his clinic was the first in the world to offer reading glasses laser treatment, also called LASER BLENDED VISION, 2010.

Background
Peter Brincker is educated in the eye departments at Frederiksberg Hospital and Rigshospitalet. At Rigshospitalet, Peter co-founded the hospital's special section for cataract surgery.

During his time as 1st Reserve Physician at these hospitals, Peter researched contact lenses and the development of new laser forms for particular types of glaucoma.

He has written several professional articles on these subjects. Peter is also a frequently used speaker at international congresses for eye treatment.

Peter Brincker is in continuous training and often participates in international congresses and courses, as a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) - the European Association of Ophthalmologists and Surgeons, with 5000 professional doctors in over 100 countries. Peter has been a teacher and censor for future ophthalmologists at the University of Copenhagen.
