THE WOMEN’S MINOR LEAGUE BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION PRESENTS THE 2016-2017 LEAGUE SHOWCASE

Houston, TX Oct. 25, 2016-The Women’s Minor League Basketball Association (WMLBA) presents the 2016-2017 league showcase. The first day of action for the league’s premier scouting event takes place on November 12. The weekend long event is sure to give fans a glimpse of what they should expect from the upstart league. “The desired outcome of the league showcase is to provide exposure to players looking to make a name for themselves, and fulfill a dream of playing overseas professionally,” said league Commissioner Janell Burse, “Our hope is to find those hidden gems and also highlight players that have played overseas previously.” The WMLBA is an obvious choice for any player, scout , agent, or coach.

“Players looking for a domestic opportunity should look no further than our league,” says league President Kre’Tonia Morgan.

The first annual match-up will feature free agent basketball players from the state of Texas. The weekend long event will take place at the Judson Robinson Jr Center located at 2020 Hermann Dr Houston ,Tx

The WMLBA showcase games will also air on WML-TV, with the games being made available for rebroadcast.
