GSU SENIOR CO-AUTHORS GROUNDBREAKING BOOK ON FAITH

Elizabeth Eddy, a Grambling State University senior pursuing degrees in Visual Performing Arts and Chemistry with a minor in Marketing, is set to be co-authored in a groundbreaking book entitled “Women of Faith: Their Untold Stories Revealed” on December 3, 2016. Eddy, who is co-authored in the book compiled and published by Rhonda Branch Yearby and BY Publishing who selected Ms. Eddy due to her outstanding collegiate career, Ms. Eddy says this is her first major publication and “It is an honor to have such a great opportunity and I do not take it lightly,” said Eddy.

“My family is very large and diverse. I come from a strong background trail blazers! One of my grandfathers is and educator, who received his doctorate and taught English. My other grandfather is an entrepreneur, who built his own dirt contracting business from the ground up and has passed it on to my uncle. My mother and father are two of the most influential people in my life. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers and we all know the importance of staying together. My parents have taught me to put God first and keep education as a priority. They also have been supportive of all my ideas and lifetime goals. My mother and father have encouraged me to build healthy relationships and join different clubs and organizations. I know that every step of my life, my family has molded me into the great young woman I am today. “This is a first or many books that I would like to publish, because I have always wanted to be a published author.”

In addition to serving as the 2016-2017 Senior Class Senator, Eddy is an active member of the Floyd L. Sanders Performing Arts club, STEM Research Journal club. “Please, support me and my co-authors on December 3, 2016 by purchasing our book for $1 & writing a brief book review on amazon.com after your purchase for 24 hours! Thanks, in advance for your support!!!” said Eddy.

“Women all over the world are often the victims or targets of discrimination, rape, divorce, workplace problems, domestic abuse, loss of a child or spouse, and more… and yet we overcome. Time and time again stories of strong women have been told, stories that enliven, inspire and stir with their courage, faith and determination. This is such a collection; an anthology specifically curated with submissions from women of many diverse cultures and backgrounds. While all are different, these true stories of faith share a common heart… an undeniable and profound faith that has seen them through hardships and helped them overcome remarkable odds and adversity.

Above all, “Women of Faith: Their Untold Stories Revealed”, is a source of encouragement to other women facing their own uphill battles. True stories, collected from the voices and hearts of women around the world; Ministers, celebrities and ordinary, everyday women who have found triumph over appalling circumstances through their faith in God. May these courageous stories give you the strength and inspiration to make the changes you need to see in your life, with faith, love and maybe a bit of humor.
