Joint Entrance Exam, commonly referred to as JEE among the student community, is a National Level exam for admission to engineering colleges in India. The JEE Main is administered by the CBSE board and comes in two patterns –one for undergraduate engineering admissions, while the other is for admissions to architecture courses. The syllabus for the engineering exam includes Math, Chemistry, and Physics, with 30 questions in each section of 4 marks each that need to be attempted in 3 hours. Since the questions are objective, the students have ample time to complete the paper.

The pattern of JEE Mains 2018 for Architecture is slightly different. The paper is divided into 3 sections, with Math comprising 30 questions of 4 marks each, Drawing 2 questions of 5 marks each, and Aptitude has 50 questions of 4 marks each. The JEE Main offline would be held on April 8, while the online exam would be conducted on April 15 and 16.
