Perched on the Observatory Hills Viceregal Lodge, which is also known as “Rashtrapati Niwas” is a magnificent building and was built as a residence of the British Viceroy Lord Dufferin. It is a six-story building, which is surrounded by well-maintained gardens. Now converted into Institute of Advanced Study, this building also houses a State Museum.
