The company’s founder, Mr. Prabir Kumar Dutt, had envisioned of establishing a technology-based organization and taking immense pride to be a pioneer in Ketonic resins manufacturing in the subcontinent. The company has experience in handling a wide variety of chemistries for a large industrial base successfully.

The company has its registered office in Vapi, Gujarat. This was also the place for Polyols & Polymers’ first manufacturing plant due to the strategic location which this city offers. The city is in proximity to the raw material resources and also provides easy access to both domestic as well as international customers. The company has also decided to expand its branch into a new city at Dahej, Gujarat by setting up a plant.

The company boasts of a state of the art manufacturing facilities with added benefits of having excellent connectivity and uninterrupted stable power with sufficient backup. It also has a testing laboratory which makes sure that the products, which are being manufactured at the firm facilities, are as per the set quality standards. Ketonic/Polyketone Resin: The ketonic resin is the company’s flagship product. The product has been manufactured by the company since its very inception and the organization believe that the products have been developed with a sense like no-one. 8 grades of the Ketone resins are been offered with further scope of development to supply more inline products. Aromatic Aliphatic Ketone Resin: This is another creation which is part of Polyols & Polymers flagship product line- Ketonic Resin. Polytone K88, which is a part of polytone series, is a neutral, unsaponifiable, solvent-free, ketone-aldehyde condensation resin. The aliphatic ketone resin is helpful in improving gloss, hardness, and the adhesion on aluminum and steel. It is usually employed in combination with other binders. Polytone K88 is mainly preferred for usage in metal finishes, manufacturing of adhesives, bright clear lacquers, enamels, etc.

Aldehyde Resin: Aldehyde Resins are produced from auto-condensed aldehydes and find very rare usage in coatings. On, the other hand Urea modified aldehyde resins are widely preferred for being used as coating additive to improve the glass, body, and UV resistance. It is also known as grinding resins for pigment pastes as it has high pigment binding power as well as universal compatibility. They are also used in combination with other resin binders in order to improve the properties and production of pigment paste.
