Plata America’s videoconference call will begin at 6:00pm local time and will be hosted by Plata America’s Senior Executives and Management Team and will discuss key issues, opportunities and challenges regarding the sustainability and mining strategy.

Plata America’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Ramon Fernandez commented on the upcoming videoconference saying “Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which has crippled many global businesses, the demand for commodities however has not stopped and our operations in the region have not stopped.”

“Whilst we did slow down production at some points last year, we were still operating at minimum working capacity and our output was not affected a great deal. Our business model is strong and we have strong measures in place to make Plata America into a successful and sustainable business for years to some,” added Ramon Fernandez, Chief Operating Officer of Plata America.
