Welcome to The Samurai Fitness Group an organisation that specialises in teaching martial arts, specifically kickboxing to children.
The Samurai Fitness Group is unlike most other martial art and fitness organisations because it was established with the sole aim of teaching children. The classes are targeted towards the age of the students, their ability, fitness level and their reason for training.
At The Samurai Fitness Group we focus not only on ‘Physical Skills’ (including fitness, balance and coordination) but also on building ‘Life Skills’ (such as confidence, social interaction, self discipline and awareness of the danger of strangers).
The classes limit the number of students per class to 16 to ensure each child gets the attention they deserve.
The Samurai Fitness Group recognises the different child development stages and therefore it accordingly divides its classes into specific age ranges.
The syllabus we follow, has evolved from the National Curriculum.
Little Samurai for 4 to 6 year old children, Young Samurai for ages 7 to 11 and Samurai Kickboxing for those aged 12 to 16. As a result of the popularity of our child classes several parents asked if they could be taught our western style of kickboxing. As a consequence we now also have Adult Kickboxing, where we teach a class each week to those aged 17 and above. http://samuraifitness.co.in/
